How do I order O2 TV?
You need a fixed phone line to use O2 TV. Submit your order by calling our toll-free line 800 33 00 76 or by visiting an O2 Shop or an authorized O2 dealer.
Do I have to order O2 Internet to use O2 TV?
You can order O2 TV as a stand-alone service. You get a discount on the monthly fee when you have both O2 TV and O2 Internet.
Can I use O2 TV even if I use a different internet provider?
Yes. However, they must use PPoE protocol. If they don’t, ask your provider to change your protocol to PPPoE before ordering O2 TV. We will supply you with a new modem that supports O2 TV technology, which will enable you to use the service.
Do I need a computer in order to use O2 TV?
No. All you need is a TV set. We will arrange the rest.
Can I transfer my fixed line to a different address even if I have O2 TV active on it?
Yes. If the service is available at your new address, it is transferred together with your fixed line and you do not need to cancel it.
Can I find out if O2 TV is available to me even if I don’t have a fixed phone line?
Yes, simply call us toll-free at 800 33 00 76 and one of our operators will inform you if O2 TV is available at your address, even if you don’t have a fixed-line phone number.
How do I order individual channel packs?
Start by choosing a basic channel pack. Then, for even more great TV, pick additional channel packs. When you have O2 TV, you can also order additional channel packs directly through the O2 TV menu, in the “Order” section of “My Services”. Overview of all channel packs.
What happens if I terminate my 12-month service agreement early?
When a customer terminates their 12-month contract for O2 TV (with an initial advantage of one or more products) prematurely, the customer is obliged to pay the provider:
a. A surcharge of the service price, which is CZK 293.33 without VAT (CZK 347.10 with VAT), for every month remaining until the contract expires if the customer received installation by an O2 employee for the discounted price of CZK 1 without VAT.
b. A surcharge of the service price, which is CZK 167.58 without VAT (CZK 199.40 with VAT) for every month remaining until the contract expires, if the customer received installation by an O2 employee for the standard fee or if the customer used a self-installation package.
Can I order the service without a 12-month contract? Under what conditions?
Yes, you can. In this case you will be charged the full service activation fee of CZK 500 without VAT, a monthly set-top box rental fee of CZK 126 without VAT, and a fee of CZK 1,510 without VAT to have the service installed by a technician. The monthly fee for the channel package will be based on the valid pricelist.
Is it possible to order a fixed-line connection and O2 TV at the same time?
Yes, it is. An O2 operator is able to inform you if the O2 TV service is available at your address even if you don’t have a fixed-line phone number.
